Groceries

So time has come to fill up your fridge in your new home with some food, here is a list of some common places to go.

Auto Mercado

One of the nicest grocery stores in Costa Rica. Well maintained, clean and organized. You will find that cost of some products are slightly higher then other places but, their selection is excellent. They even offer home delivery for your groceries.

Saretto

This is a very old grocery store in Costa Rica that has an extremely wondeful selection of specialty items. Basically if you are looking for something you can find at the regular grocery store go here.

Mas X Menos

This is another grocery store, owned by WalMart. They are very strong in certain parts of the city and you will find the cost of goods a little less than Auto Mercado.

Perimercados

Personally I stay away from this store unless I need something last minute and everything else is closed.
