Two Teak Plantations, totaling 74 hectares (183 acres) owned by a large Teak exporting company, divided in the following way:

1) 51 hectares (126 acres) ($612,000USD) in what is considered by most to be the best area for teak in costa rica, the plantation is located between Jicaral and Playa Coyote in Puntarenas bordering Guanacaste. 49 of these hectáres are planted with Teak that is one year old regrowth which will be ready for production in 8-10 years with a 70-90 cm average. The teak image is of the 13 year old teak we cut out of these plantations. Plantation has roads connecting it throughout and it has perfect access throughout the year, rain or shine. Electricity runs through the plantation. Only 40 minutes from the ferry Naranjo and 40 minutes from playa coyote. Electricity runs through the road within the plantation. Can be subdivided for future conversion to residential lots.

2) A beautiful 23 hectare finca ($276,000USD) with fresh water year round via a manantial in the property. huge trees and lovely river in one of the hectáres reserfed for building a hacienda. The rest is planted with teak, 4 hectares of 7 year old teak and 18 hectares with one and a half years old teak. Fertilizer used twice a year, this will be a beautiful plantation and the growth of the teak in this area is superb so in 12 years this teak will be at a 70-90cm average. 20 minutes from the other plantation for sale in La Fresca and about one hour away from Cobano.

Priced at what most are buying bare land in conditions ready to plant but without the teak being planted already, we are looking for a quick sale with a serious buyer looking for a long term safe investment. The full grown teak will be worth around 2.5-3 million USD depending on how quickly the wood is extracted (10vs 16 years of age) and the property values continue to steadily increase over the years.

The company planned to keep the plantations and therefore invested in the planting and management of the 80 hectares but has begun a large teak project in Panama and is therefore looking to sell quickly, it is priced accordingly and we'll listen to reasonable offers only.
