This is by far the best building in all of Costa Rica, brand new just finished march of 2006, the whole building is built to American codes with the rastra block system, that is Styrofoam with concrete pored into the columns, it has a r30 rating it is 60% lighter holds the ac better and much more sound proof then brick, all the street side glass is dual ping to keep it nice and quite, in this area there are power and water problems, not at Pacifico Colonial, we have a 35,000 gallon holding tank for water and a generator that supplies power to the entire building, it comes on automatically in 5 seconds when the power goes out, we have 24 security, surveillance cameras on all floors that record for 72 hours, 2 inch fire hoses on all floors, dumb waiters for trash on all floors, the bottom floor is all common area, there are 2 saunas, party room, a place to cook for your party, pool, gym, storage units for all owners in case they want to rent there unit out, the rentals range from $3500 to $9000 a week for these units. all units have amazing ocean views, granite counter tops in kitchens and bathrooms hardwoods through out all units, this building was in a 6.2 earthquake 1 year ago, there was not one crack in the whole building the earthquake was centered in parrita which is only 20 miles away.
